2014 Graduate of the Master of Science in Complementary Alternative Medicine & 2015 DEAC Outstanding Graduate nominee
Luis conferred his Master of Science in Complementary Alternative Medicine following his retirement from the United States Air Force as an Information Manager. As part of his military career, he served in Iraq during the armed conflict. During that time, he saw the need for alternative means to address the physical and mental health issues of military personnel returning from combat zones.
"I understood that I must look for alternative treatment options, and to prepare myself to learn what alternatives are available," says Sanchez.
He continues, "I have started to assist some fellow retired military members with issues and recommending alternative solutions. I am beginning to see the tremendous potential to influence the quality of life for veterans, retired military, and of course, the civilian community. As people get to know me and my accomplishments, they seek my advice and start trusting me with their personal issues. I am also in the process of creating a television program to be aired in Costa Rica and other countries, in English and Spanish. The list of programming will include teaching about Dynamic Phytotherapy and how it can help not only the military service members, but the Latin-American population as well."
