Course Description:
This
course focuses on pathophysiology and holistic protocols for clients
experiencing acute and chronic problems. This course trains students to
be able to understand and explain the basic principles of
pathophysiology as well as the mechanical and biochemical changes
caused by a variety of diseases or imbalances.
Nat
302 grants credit towards all ACHS Diplomas and for the Associate of
Applied Science in Complementary Alternative Medicine (AASCAM).
Prerequisites:
Nat 210, 211, and 212 or equivalent and recommendation for admission.
Study Time:
This program is completed over 16 weeks. Minimum study time recommended
is 9 hours per week including online time, homework, reading, labs and
practical work.
Credit:
3 semester credits.
Continuing Education Credit:
RN: 230 hours. Vet: 6 hours. Massage: 230 hours. Pharmacists: 172.5 Therapeutic and 47.5 Other credit hours.
