Course Description
Aroma 304 is the second of two Level Three aromatherapy materia medica programs at ACHS. This course continues the essential oil materia medica training with the remaining 20 oils studied in the Certificate in Aromatherapy.
Aroma 303 grants credit towards the Certificate
and Diploma in Aromatherapy and the Aromatherapy major for the
Associate of Applied Science in Complementary Alternative Medicine
(CAM).

Study Time:
This course is completed over 16 weeks. Minimum study time recommended is 9 hours per week.
Credit:
3 semester credits.
Continuing Education Credit:
Registered Nurses: 110 hours. Veterinarian: 6 hours. Massage Therapists: 110 hours.
Materials:
- ACHS Student Handbook & Study Guide
- Aroma 304 product making kits: Fizzing Bath Bombs, Bath Salts, Foot Scrub, Room Spray, Body Oil, Hand and Nail Butter.
- 5 mls each of the following essential oils: Marjoram, Nutmeg, Patchouli, Thyme, Vetiver, Jasmine Perfume Oil. 2 mls each of the following essential oils: Immortelle, Jasmine Absolute, Yarrow.
- ACHS Lavender Hydrosol
- ACHS Lavandin Hydrosol
- Nasal Inhaler 3 pack
- Scent Ball with 5 pads & oil blend
- Interactive, instructor-led ACHS online classroom.
- Online lectures updated with the latest information and applicable research.
- Regular tests designed to enhance your understanding as well as assess your learning to date.
