ENG 101 English Composition I Online

Course Description:

This course develops students' written communication skills with emphasis on understanding the writing process, analyzing readings, and practicing writing for personal and professional applications.

ENG 101 English Composition I is a required general education course for the Associate of Applied Science in Complementary Alternative Medicine degree program and strengthens all students’ skills for their career and provides vital life skills in English composition.

Prerequisites:

Recommendation for admissions by the Dean of Admissions.

Study Time:

This course is completed over 16 weeks. Minimum study time recommended is 9 hours per week.

Credit:

3 semester credits.

  • Interactive, instructor-led ACHS online classroom.
  • Online lectures updated with the latest information and applicable research.
  • Regular tests designed to enhance your understanding as well as assess your learning to date.
  • Ongoing, instructor-led and peer-to-peer discussions for each module to enhance your learning and connect you with your fellow students, all of whom are adult learners from varying walks of life, enriching your learning experience.
