This program is a professional training program
(formerly called Homeobotanical Therapy) for people seeking to add an exciting and effective modality to their holistic health practice. Graduates are eligible to apply for
registration as a Graduate Member of the New Zealand Homeobotanical
Institute. Students will receive a free honorary membership to the Homeobotanical Institute.
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

Explain the nature, theory, and uses of dynamic phytotherapy, and its homeopathic and herbal roots.

Determine the appropriate blend of herbal and dynamic phytotherapy remedies.

Explain and use the concepts of dynamic nutrition, potentized nutrients, and assimilation.

Create and potentize a dynamic phytotherapy blend.

Supplement herbal and homeopathic blends, liquids, and ointments with flower remedies for optimal performance.

Modify your herbal and dynamic phytotherapy training for use with pets and pastoral animals.

General Introduction; Basic Prescribing; Case
Notes and Questionnaires; Dynamic Nutrition; Potentized Nutrients and
Assimilation; Case Analysis; Herbal Personalities; Herbs versus
Homeopathy; Remedy Selection; Direction of Cure.
Homeopathic Roots; Understanding the Nature of Homeopathy; Prescribing for Acute and Chronic Cases.
Herbal Roots; Preparation and Formulation of Herbal Remedies; Professional System of Prescribing.
Dynamic Phytotherapy:
Mix and Match Miracles; Flower and Crystal Essences and Potions; Mental
and Emotional Factors in Health; Mini-Prescribing and the Portable
Clinic; Supplements; Fifty Case Histories; Ointments and Managing Skin
Problems.
Natural Healing for Animals; The Clinical and Pastoral Use of Herbal Energy.
Prerequisites:
Prior training in botanical sciences or equivalent and recommendation for admission.
Taught:
This course is completed over 16 weeks. Minimum study time recommended is 8 to 10 hours per week.
Credit:
6 semester credits.
Continuing Education Credit:
RN: 1400 hours. Vet: 6 hours. Massage: 1400 hours. Pharmacists: 1050 Therapeutic and 350 Other hours.
