Aroma 203: Aromatherapy I Online

Course Description
Aroma 203 takes students to the next step in their aromatherapy training, looking deeper at the historical uses of aromatherapy and the modern scientific research being carried out in this fascinating modality. Students study methods of administration for essential oils in more depth than Aroma 101 as well as the anatomy and physiology of the related body systems.
Aroma 203 grants credit towards the Certificate and Diploma in Aromatherapy and the Aromatherapy major for the Associate of Applied Science in Complementary Alternative Medicine (AASCAM) degree.

Prerequisites:
Aroma 101 or 80% or higher score on Aroma 101 challenge exam.
Study Time:
This course is completed over 16 weeks. Minimum study time recommended is 9 hours per week.
Credit:
3 semester credits.
Continuing Education Credit:
Registered Nurses: 110 hours. Veterinarian: 6 hours. Massage Therapists: 110 hours.

- Therapeutic Massage DVD
- Perfume testing strips
- Sample blending kit with 5 ml bottles of Aloe Vera Oil, Apricot Kernal Oil, Camellia Oil, Jojoba Oil, and Sweet Almond Oil and 5 empty 5 ml bottles for blending.
