Upon completion of this 4-week online program, you will be able to:

Discuss and describe ten leading medicinal botanicals including: Arnica, Astragalus, Bilberry, Bupleurum, Chaste Tree, Devil’s Claw, Hawthorn, Reishi, Saw Palmetto, Shiitake.

Identify the therapeutic potential of each botanical.

Explain the pharmacological action of the ten botanicals in this program.

List the key recommended uses for each botanical.

Recall the recommended dosage and duration for each of the ten botanicals studied.

Recall and describe any contra-indications and precautions associated with each botanical.

Recall the regulatory status of each of the ten botanicals studied.
Prerequisites:
Prior training or self-study in botanical sciences.
Taught:
This program is completed over 4 weeks. Minimum study time recommended is 3-6 hours per week.
Credit:
37 hours. Graduates are awarded a Certificate
of Completion.
Continuing Education Credit:
RN: 37 hours. Massage Therapists: 37 hours. Naturopaths: 11 hours
General. Vet: 6 hours. Registered Herbalists (AHG): 11 CE's based on 10
contact
hours per CE.
