Program Description:This Diploma program is an extensive program
designed for the serious student seeking a professional working
knowledge of herbal medicine.
This program is ideal for medical professionals
wishing to increase their knowledge of this exciting field and
integrate it into a new or existing practice, including MDs,
Psychologists, Pharmacists, Naturopaths, Aromatherapists, Nurses,
Veterinarians, Respiratory Therapists, or Social Workers.

Assessment:
Each component of this Diploma program requires
a passing score on written assignments, practical lab work, and the
final exam. Once students have achieved this for each component of the
Diploma program, they can apply to be awarded the Diploma in Herbal Studies Master Herbalist.
Prerequisites:
Admissions interview and recommendation for admission from the Dean of Admissions.
Study Time:
Students must complete all program requirements
within a maximum of five years of enrollment to be eligible for the
Diploma. Minimum study time recommended is 9 hours per week for each course.
Credit:
Graduates will have completed 39 semester credits for the Diploma. Graduates are awarded the Diploma in Herbal Studies Master Herbalist.
Continuing Education Credit:
Varies for each course completed in the Diploma.
