CE 511 Advanced Herbal Materia Medica Online
This
program is recommended for anyone interested in learning about 10
botanicals with medicinal potential supported by research and clinical
evidence.

CE 512 Botanical Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry Online
This
course takes students on an in-depth tour of the fundamental principles
of pharmacognosy (the knowledge of medicinal plant preparations and
extracts) and phytochemistry (literally, ‘plant’ chemistry) as they
apply to the clinical practice of botanical medicine. We will examine
the major categories and subcategories of herbal constituents in order
to provide a reasonable framework for understanding how molecules
contribute to an herb’s observable actions.
CE 516 Aromatherapy for Massage Therapists I Online
Learn to incorporate therapeutic aromatherapy in your massage practice.
You’ll study methods of administration, therapeutic uses, and
contraindications for the eight essential oils studied: Bergamot, Chamomile, Eucalyptus, Juniper, Lavender, Lemon, Peppermint, and Pine.
CE 520 Advanced Aromatic Materia Medica Online
Learn to explain the pharmacological action, identify the therapeutic
potential, and understand the key recommended methods of administration
for each of the six essential oils in this program: Boswelia, Cistus, Cardamom, Oregano, Turmeric, and Vitex.
