Outstanding Graduate of the Year

Dr. Krista Morton, a 2025 ACHS Doctor of Science in Integrative Health graduate, transformed her personal experience with complex chronic illnesses into a mission to help others heal. After leaving a career in professional dance due to health challenges, she pursued advanced integrative health education while building her private practice, SomaSonder Wellness, in Greenville, South Carolina. Specializing in chronic conditions, she combines evidence-based and holistic approaches to support clients across the U.S. and Canada. Her ACHS dissertation focused on integrative protocols for mycotoxin illness. Despite the loss of her mother during her final year, Krista persevered with faculty support, dedicating her dissertation to her mother’s memory and continuing to make a meaningful impact in integrative healthcare.
